Trail Experience
In order to help preserve the trail and the land, we ask that you respect the following trail guidelines. This will also ensure that future visitors to the trail will also have a positive experience.
Harvesting and/or consuming any plants along the Medicine Walk Trail is strictly prohibited
In the summer, it is advised that you bring and use sunscreen and bug spray while on the trail. We advise that you wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a wide brim hat while on the trail in the summer.
In the winter, you should be prepared to traverse in snowy and or icy conditions while on the trail. This means you should wear appropriate attire (snow pants, jacket, etc) and footwear (snowshoes, winter boots, or skis).
No matter the season, it is important that you bring water to the trail and stay hydrated!
If you bring any snacks, you must bring your litter out with you.
Dogs must be kept on-leash while on the trail. Please pick up after them.
In the case of an emergency, dial 911 immediately. If you notice any damages to the signs on the trail, please contact the Mi'kmaq-Wolastoqey Centre at 506-453-4840 or mwc@unb.ca
While we try our best to maintain the trail route and its accessibility, we are not liable for any injuries or incidents that may occur on the trail.
